CreoEdge Corporation Announces Zerovine, a turnkey SMS Server Appliance and Web Based SMS Server Platform

Designed for Broadcast SMS Applications in Business Environments

Philippines, Jan. 10 – CreoEdge Corporation, a leading data communications and telecommunications technology company based in Ortigas, announces the company's turnkey SMS server appliance. The Zerovine SMS server comes in a compact and self-contained chassis that can be desktop or rack mounted. Equipped with a quad-band GSM cellular modem and Ethernet(R) interface, the new CreoEdge product enables any PC on the connected network to broadcast SMS messages and is carrier agnostic for use in most parts of the world.

"Before Zerovine, traditional broadcast SMS servers required using a complex combination of hardware and software that required a team of skilled engineers to support," states Alexander Ramia, CEO for CreoEdge Corporation. “Even for simple SMS applications, the traditional method of scheduled mobile messages is an overly complicated task, involving multiple companies with difficulty finding sources of problems. With Zerovine it is a simple process of connecting to the network, inserting a properly configured SIM card. At that point anyone authorized on the network can broadcast messages. Zerovine’s powerful Ajax interface allows grouping of recipients, template messages, and scheduled messages to be created. Alerts due to weather can be e sent to faculty in real-time, class changes can be broadcasted to class groups, doctors appointments can be scheduled for the next day, government notifications to key staff and emergency alerts are supported with easy to use intuitive windows style interface. Zerovine automatically queues messages and sends them unattended."

Our enterprise solution of Zerovine broadcast SMS server comes equipped with an internal/external GSM modem, one Ethernet LAN interface/connector, and power supply. After installing the server on an Ethernet network on one end and cellular network using a provisioned SIM on the other end, the unit can be configured from any network-attached PC using a web interface. Recipient names and phone numbers can be entered using a connected PC or up loaded from an excel sheet. The address book can contain an unlimited number of entries with support for sorting, searching and group set-ups. Individual user accounts can have selected access rights and broadcast messages can be triggered via SMS using predefined groups and SMS text.Our Web based version of Zerovine supports the same powerful features as the Enterprise but requires only access to the internet. The product supports pre paid or monthly billing for message usage.
